Welcome back to ‘Roam at Home.’ I have come across some seriously stunning campsites and I bet you never knew they existed! Have you ever heard of the National Trust? If you have heard of them then I bet you did not know that they offered campsites of their very own, and well… They are absolutely stunning!

The national trust have some of the most amazing holiday outlets across the country and some in seriously remote locations. I have been lucky enough to try a few in our stunning AONB (Areas Of Natural Beauty) across the UK. Honestly you may be missing out. Waking up of a morning and unzipping you tent to the site of mountains, rivers, lakes and forests Is just something else. If you are fed up of holiday parks and farm sites then you have come to the right place.

Wasdale – Lake District

Hafod y Llan – Wales

Buried in the valleys, Snowdonia, Wales, Hafod y Llan Campsite offers a simple, family-oriented escape. Pitch your tent or campervan and enjoy facilities like hot showers, toilets, campfires, a tumble dryer, and a small car park.

Right next to the Cwm Llan river, the campsite boasts direct access to Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Wales’ highest peak, via the Watkin Path.
